A record group of 62 Scouts, Ventures, Rovers and Leaders attending this year’s Annual Camp in the Channel Islands.
The Camp started on Monday June 29th with a Opening Ceremony including the blessing of the flags and the making of several awards to Youth & Adult Members. Then it was off on the 24-hour 4 legged bus and boat journey to Jersey. One day later we arrived in Jersey to the hottest June day on record. Tents up, food bought, it was time to enjoy Camp 2015. An action packed week followed – highlights included trips to the Jersey War Tunnels and the Living Legend; shopping in Saint Helier; surfing; high ropes activities; the island challenge / scavenger hunt; coasteering; kayaking; karting; crazy golf; the leaders vs scouts tag rugby match and much more besides. After a fun week; the last night (or so we thought) arrived to soon – and then it was time for the Campfire.
