On the 23rd June 2013, I hope to do a parachute jump to raise some funds for Milford Home Care and the local branch of the Order of Malta.
I have already received €1,065 in donations from family and home helps. I would be very grateful for any more donations. The Jump will be in tandem like Sr Patricia Wall’s jump of 10,000 ft. I’m thinking of the expression “hit the ground running” when a new member takes over managing a team or company. I don’t intend to do this. I hope it will be a worthwhile experience. There was also some particle of a meteorite that landed in Eastern Europe recently and caused a massive crater in the ground. I don’t intend to do this either. My T shirt shows a cartoon figure in a parachute with what looks like a defibrillator strapped to their body. I reckon I won’t need to be revived though; I have a nice lunch planned afterwards! Any donations will be gratefully received. I can be contacted in Social Services, Rossa Street, Thurles. 050422169
Thank You Marese Skehan
