The Roads Action Group - Have received a comprehensive and detailed reply from Area Engineer regarding the road repair and works required that were submitted from local residents. He stated that he will survey all listed roads (27) starting on 20th May and as the submission was very detailed containing many items requiring attention this survey would take some time to complete. The Council now want a further follow up from residents to cover the drainage works needed on local roads. The maps must now be marked to indicate exactly where and what side etc., residents feel these drainage works must be undertaken. The reply further states that work for 2013 will mainly consist of drainage improvements with patching and pothole filling in the worst area to be decided after survey is complete. We will be in touch again with persons who made submissions regarding drainage and a follow up meeting with these residents will be necessary.
