The much anticipated Roscrea Credit Union Cash Draw took place recently.

The much anticipated Roscrea Credit Union Cash Draw took place recently.

The overall winner of the grand prize of €10,000 was Nicola Crampton who had plenty of well wishers and family support on the night. Other winners included Dearbhail Carroll (€4000), James Byrne (€3000), Patrick & Jane Marks (€2000), Patrick Hennessy (€1500), Sandy Keeshan (€1000), Catherine McLoughlin Graig (€1000), Thomas Deegan (€1000), Darren Landy (€1000), Fidelma O’Reilly (€1000). The Credit Union Cash Draw is non profit and all eligible members are invited to join. The next draw will take place in September. Call into the credit union or check out for details on how to join.

The Credit Union was delighted to announce to it’s members recently that lending restrictions were eased considerably in recent weeks. We are therefore in a position to try and satisfy more demand provided members meet the loan application eligibility requirements. WWI Commemoration The Credit Union has put in place a committee that will host a World War 1 commemoration afternoon on Tuesday September 30th 2014. Through Hugh Keane who has served on the Credit Union for many years the committee is working with one of America’s leading pipe bands who have voluntarily given a commitment to attend and play for the people of Roscrea as part of a ceremony that will be put together by the credit union and it’s members.
