A Small Mammals workshop has been organised for Saturday 25th August in Upperchurch. The workshop, which is to run from 10am to 4pm, will focus on small mammals in the Tipperary area. The workshop will be run in conjunction with Mammals in a Sustainable Environment (MISE), and the Upperchurch Development Association and North Tipperary Co. Co.
David Tosh (Queens University Belfast and MISE) together will Allan McDevitt (UCD and MISE) will introduce the MISE project and will talk about small mammal and in particular the importance of these mammals to the Environment. Talk will be followed by a number of interesting workshops including the identification of small mammals, small mammal bait pots for non-invasive surveys and the demonstration of small mammal trapping.
