Dancing Diary

Dancing in The Premier Ballroom Thurles on this Sunday night, 30th September, to ‘Dave Rae’.  Dancing is from 8.30pm to 11.30pm.  The admission price of €9 include tea and biscuits at 10pm.

The Source Film Club presents 'The Square' at the Source Arts Centre, Thurles on Wednesday September 26th at 8pm. Christian (Claes Bang) is the curator of a contemporary art museum in Stockholm.
A well respected man in the community who supports many good causes and is a devoted father to two children, his latest idea is ‘The Square’, an enclosed space in the gallery where people are invited to demonstrate good behaviour. However, in the course of trying to drum up publicity for the new project, Christian’s wallet and phone are stolen and his hysterical response to the theft sends him veering from one crisis to another. Tickets: €9/ €5

Upperchurch fundraiser with James Kilbane
James Kilbane will bring his Country Gospel concert “Country Hymns & Songs of Praise” to Upperchurch, Thurles on Saturday 14th October at The Sacred Heart Church, Upperchurch, Thurles, Co. Tipperary at 8pm. The concert is to help fundraising efforts for the church maintenance of The Sacred Heart Church, Upperchurch & Drombane District Development and Upperchurch Community Centre. For the church and community centre there is ongoing repairs, heating and up-keeping costs. To enjoy this Country Gospel concert with James Kilbane and the Upperchurch community then donation tickets are €20 and are available from local outlets O'Dwyer's Upperchurch, Ryan's Upperchurch, Drombane Creamery, Parish Office Thurles, Holycross Abbey, Holyford Stores.
