Mr Carter
A brand new musical takes to The Abymill stage in Fethard from 3rd to 6th May. Music lyrics and scripted by Stefan J doyle of JW Productions. Set in 1940,s New York this is a foot tapping hand clapping show with some great performers from around the country as well as some local stars. Mr Carter tells the story of a failed director who has one last stab at a new show. Joined by his long suffering wife and a cast made up of the best he can find... Bealtaine at Roscrea Library
As part of the annual Bealtaine festival, Roscrea Library are hosting a number of events. The first event is a Line Dancer tasting class with Ray Cahill on Friday May 4th from 3 to 4 pm. So why not dust of those boots and get your weekend off to a great start. Booking is advisable and admission is free. On Friday 11th May at 3pm, Trudi O’Leary of Roscrea Travel will be giving a talk about travel for seniors. Dancing Diary
Dancing in The Premier Ballroom Thurles on this Sunday night, 29th April, to Finbarr Dennehy. Dancing is from 8.30pm to 11.30pm. The admission price is €9 and includes tea and biscuits.

Christy and the band ASLAN will be playing in the Golden GAA complex on Saturday 4th August. Tickets €20 on sale from May 1st.

The Matchmaker
Back by popular demand, for one night only, The Matchmaker based on the novella “Letters of a County Matchmaker” by John B. Keane one of Ireland’s most celebrated writers, will play at Nenagh Arts Centre on Saturday May 26. Tickets cost €22 plus booking fee. Time 8pm.
