Louise and Norman Morrissey will feature for two nights only at Brú Ború in Cashel on Monday, August 8th and Monday, August 15th.
Louise Morrissey has long been regarded by both folk and country music enthusiasts as one of Tipperary’s vocal treasures.
The multi-award winner Louise will be joined by her brother Norman, who was an integral part of the folk group The Morrisseys.
From the mid 1970s through to the late 1980s this group were highly regarded both on the Irish and international folk scene.
This very popular duo are commencing their Irish tour in the beautiful Cashel venue of Brú Ború Theatre and will take you on a nostalgic journey from those early days with The Morrisseys right up to the present day, singing songs from their vast repertoire and together they will share with their audience many memories, stories and songs including their chart topping “The Old Rustic Bridge by the Mill”, “Come Back Paddy Reilly”, “Sweet Forget me not”, “The Galtee Mountain Boy”and many more favourites including their new hit single “Gulf Coast Highway” making for a most enjoyable sing along evening.
