Since her 80th birthday great-grandmother, Chrissie has devoted much of her spare time climbing mountains to raising funds for cancer support charities. In that period, she has climbed, Carruuntoohil, Mount Brandon, Croagh Patrick, Slieve Donard and now Cnoic na dTobar. She also found time to abseil down a cliff face near the Cliffs of Moher to raise funds for the Thurles based Suirhaven Charity.
