All Ireland hurling winner Seamus Hennessy from Cloughjordan visited Our Lady's Secondary School Templemore recently to discuss his bid to tackle the ice marathon in the Antarctic later this year to raise money for suicide awareness.
He told them about his story, how he has learnt to deal with setbacks and in turn the big challenges he is taking on in the future. He also spoke about the value of speaking to others as a way of coping with what life has to throw at you.

In December Seamus is taking on a mammoth challenge in tackling the ice marathon in the Antarctic to support a number of suicide awareness charities such as Pieta House and Living Links Tipperary. It is a very worthy cause which you can follow on @runningforjosie.
