Michael Ryan's Tipperary senior hurling team will take on Pat Gilroy's Dublin in the quarter-finals of the Allianz National Hurling League on Sunday, March 25th at Croke Park, Dublin (1pm) - the game will serve as a preamble to the Allianz National Football League division one clash between Dublin and Monaghan. Meanwhile Liam Kearns' footballers will face Cavan at Kingspan Breffni Park in Cavan on Sunday, March 25th (3pm) in division two of the Allianz National Football League.

The Central Competitions Control Committee met at Croke Park, Dublin on Tuesday, March 20th to re-fix the Allianz National League contests which were postponed due to the inclement weather conditions on Sunday.

The Allianz National Hurling League quarter-final between Tipperary and Dublin was originally scheduled for Sunday, March 18th and then re-scheduled to take place on Monday, March 19th, but was called off on both occasions.

Páirc Esler in Newry was scheduled to host the key Allianz National Football League division two clash between Down and Tipperary on Sunday, March 18th, but that contest was also postponed. The division two Allianz National Football League final was originally scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 1st.

Meanwhile the Allianz National Hurling League semi-finals were originally scheduled to take place on the week-ending Sunday, March 25th and the final on Saturday, March 31st. Those fixtures, however, will not stand meaning that the league semi-finals will now take place on the week-ending Sunday, April 1st and the league final on the week-ending Sunday, April 8th.
