Tipperary drawn to face Kerry in 2018 Munster minor football championship

The Tipperary minor footballers, who will be managed by Matt Doherty, have been drawn to face Kerry in the quarter-finals of the Electric Ireland Munster Minor Football Championship on Wednesday, April 11th - the game will take place at Semple Stadium, Thurles. Cork will take on Waterford in another quarter-final while Limerick will also clash with Clare on April 11th.

The loser of the clash between Tipperary and Kerry will face the loser of the meeting between Limerick and Clare on Wednesday, April 18th in the play-offs. The winner of that contest will then face the loser of the game between Cork and Waterford in another play-off on Wednesday, April 25th with a place in the semi-finals up for grabs on Wednesday, May 9th.

If Tipperary win their quarter-final clash with Kerry they will take on the winner of the meeting between Cork and Waterford in the semi-finals on May 9th, but if the Premier County progress to the semi-finals via the play-offs Tipperary will face the winner of the contest between Limerick and Clare in the last four.

The Munster Minor Football Championship final is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 23rd.
