Tipperary’s senior footballers continue their Allianz National Football League campaign with a trip to Leitrim on Sunday afternoon next - a game which could seal promotion to division 3 should the result work out for Peter Creedon’s men.
Unbeaten in the campaign so far, Tipperary have had wins in all bar the second round clash with Waterford in Clonmel. And, they have improved with every outing too and have been putting up decent scores along the way to catapult themselves to the top of the group as the final run in approaches.
Tipperary need one more victory from their clashes with Leitrim on Sunday and the final game against Wicklow on April 6th to be sure of moving up a division in next years campaign.
While a lot of the players have been involved with the U-21’s as they advanced to the Munster Final, there is still a lot of energy in the senior side and Peter Creedon and his management team will be hoping for more of the same when the ball is thrown in on Sunday.
