Tipperary’s hurlers and footballers are both in action again this weekend, with the footballers facing a stern test when they travel to Ruislip to talke on London in round 3 of the Allianz National Football League.
Having secured three points from their opening two games, Peter Creedon’s men will make the journey across the water hoping to build on their success to date. But, London have developed into a very strong side indeed and The Premier men will do very well to come away with anything from Ruislip. In what is going to be a very tight group, Tipperary really need to keep the points board moving and a second victory would certainly boost their prospects for when they return home.
Meanwhile, fresh from the league defeat last Sunday against Kilkenny, Tipp’s senior hurlers will once again lock horns with Leinster opposition, when Wexford come to Kilsheelan on Saturday for a challenge game in aid of the Kilsheelan -Kilcash senior and juvenile clubs. The game will provide the perfect platform for Tipperary’s preparations for the visit of All-Ireland champions Clare to Semple Stadium on Sunday 9th as part of a hurling and football double header with the Bannermen which promises to be a cracking afternoon.
