After a club committee meeting last week the schedule of walks for the rest of this year is now in place.
With over thirty walks to choose from there is sure to be something to suit everyone and as usual there is a good spread of locations on high and low ground through Tipperary, Waterford and Limerick.
A weekend trip to the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher is also planned for October and weather permitting, it should prove to be the highlight of the season. Details of all the walks are available on the club website, www.galteewalkingclub.ie.
Meanwhile, the Wednesday walks are drawing to a close as the evenings become darker and the final three outings will be led by Amelia, Mary and Therese.
The Galtee Walking Club AGM will be held in the Excel Centre, Tipperary, on October 10 next.
