Tipperary Gardai continue drink driving clampdown with four arrests in three days

Nenagh Gardai are continuing their clampdown on drink driving

Nenagh Gardaí are trying to identify thieves who stole trailers in the locality in recent days.

A horsebox was stolen in broad daylight in Kilruane on Thursday last after been detached from a jeep.

At around lunchtime on the following day a trailer was stolen from a premises at Portland, Lorrha.

Meanwhile, local Gardaí continue their clampdown on drink driving.

A driver was arrested in Silver Street in Nenagh on Thursday last at around 11am.

Three drivers were arrested at a checkpoint on the M7 at Tullaheady on Friday last, two on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and one under the influence of alcohol.

A male was arrested for drink driving at Kenyon Street in the early hours of Saturday last and another on the same date at MacDonagh Street in the town.

A vehicle was stolen from Shower in Newport on Sunday last. It was last seen being driven in the direction of Limerick.

A person was detained on suspicion of stealing over €300 of alcoholic drink from Tesco in Roscrea last Thursday.
