Tipperary Friends of Animals

Thanks to everyone who participated in Tipperary Friends of Animals recent dog walk which proved very enjoyable.
A total of €1560 was raised on the day and all money will go to fund animal welfare locally.
We depend on your ongoing generosity to support the work of the society in providing care to animals that have at times been abused or neglected.
The Tipperary Friends of Animals is pleased to announce an extension of their subsidised neutering scheme for pet owners who receive social welfare payments as their only source of income.
Under this scheme all people who would find it otherwise difficult to pay for the neutering of their animals can have them neutered at a reduced price.
The popular scheme is on offer at Summerhill Veterinary Clinic (067 31248) for both dogs and cats.
Male and female cats can be neutered at either Summerhill Veterinary Clinic or A Country Practice, Sarsfield Street, Nenagh (067 33725) or at Brittas Veterinary Hospital in Thurles (0504 24401). It is advisable to bring photographic ID and proof of Social Welfare payment to the vet with you when availing of the service.
If anyone is interested in providing a good home to a cat or kitten Friends of the Animals can be contacted on 086 8163707.
