On Wednesday 20th November 2013, at 7.30pm a public meeting will be held at Thurles Garda station, for interested parties in running a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme with a view to renewing contacts and updating details with existing schemes, and commence new schemes. The meeting is aimed at residents of Thurles Town residing primarily in estates or streets where there is residential housing situated. We would be delighted to meet anyone who was previously involved or would like to get involved for the first time. The regional Crime Prevention Officer will be in attendance at the meeting.
