U 21 Football
In the first rd of u21 football championship played at Templetouhy on Sunday last we were defeated by Loughmore/ Castleiney on a scoreline of 2-10 to 1-7. We do not have a date for next round at time of writing but it is imperative that all players be present at all training sessions from now on.
Training for all players on appointed dates from now on as championship time is expected to be in early April.
5 Year Plan
Our club is in the process of developing a five year strategic club plan, which will map out the future direction of our club. This is a key development for us as we aim to build on our past and build for the future. As part of this process, we are holding a consultation Club Planning workshop on the 22nd February 2013 in St Colmcille’s Boys Schoolat 7.30pm for all our members, officers, players and all the community.
The purpose of this workshop is to give everyone in our community the opportunity to have their say in our future. This will be a workshop based event and will take approximately 1½ hours, with light refreshments afterwards. Those present will discuss various topics in small groups, including coaching and games development, Communication and PR, Club structures and Administration, Finances and Fundraising also Facilities development.
