A hsitory of the Stations of the Cross in the famous Abbey
It is important to mention the Stations of the Cross in Holycross because of the connection between the Abbey and the relic of the Cross of Christ.
There are four sets of Stations in and around the Abbey. There is a bronze set in the cloister area. An older and typically church set are hanging in the tae room above the Abbey shop in the west wing. These are from the old parish church and provide a devotional link with it and the Abbey. Another set, in batik, hangs inside the nave of the church. They are by the artist, Bernadette Madden.
