Courses for Sept. 2011 – Colaiste Mhuire is now enrolling for Further Education Curses for September 2011. One can book a place on any one of five courses on offer such as Welding/Engineering, Computers (Level 5 and Level 6), Childcare (Level 5 and Level 6). Emerald’s Lord Mayor Campaign - David (‘Chilli’) Kelly for Mayor. A Coffee Morning will take place in Hayes’s Bar, Urlingford this Friday, April 15th from 10.30 a.m. to 12 noon. A Cabaret will take place on Saturday night, April 16th from 10 p.m. Music by ‘Him ‘n’ Her’. Please support generously.
Whist Drive – The Whist Drive attracted a large attendance in St. Mary’s Hall on Friday last, proceeds in aid of Trocaire. Adoration – Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be in Urlingford Church this coming Friday afternoon from
2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. You are invited to come along and spend some time in quiet prayer before Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament during this period.
Fashion Show– A Monster Fashion Show will take place in Urlingford Community Hall on this Friday evening, April 15th at 8 p.m. (Emeralds G.A.A. Fergie for Mayor, representing Doyles and Fitzgerald’s Urlingford). Cheese and wine reception from 7 p.m. to
7.45 p.m. Come and support our local models, lots of surprises on the night. A night not to be missed. Tickets 15 euro.
Collection – Annual collection for Children with Special Needs in Ossory will be taken up as a second collection at all Masses in Urlingford and Graine this coming weekend April 16th and 17th. Your generous support would be appreciated.
Passion Sunday – Next Sunday is Passion (Palm) Sunday. Palms will be blessed before all Masses next weekend as we begin Holy Week.
Tennis Club – A Tennis Camp will take place on the new tennis courts at Colaiste Mhuire, Johnstown during the week of April 18th to 22nd from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is open to boys and girls aged 6 to 18 years.
