As part of the celebrations and events to mark the Year of Consecrated Life, CORI (The Conference of Religious of Ireland) are organising a Family Day of celebration in the grounds of the Cistercian Monastery, Mount Saint Joseph’s Abbey, Roscrea, on the afternoon of next Saturday (July 11th).
This event is intended as the day for those in Consecrated Life to celebrate with their families and will feature activities and entertainment for all ages from toddlers to pensioners! There will be lots of different attractions from face painting and balloon modelling to bouncing castles and much more including live music, spot prizes and food stalls. Attendants are encouraged to bring your own picnic! All are welcome to this afternoon of celebration which will end with Evening Prayer in the Abbey Church at 4.30pm. There will be plenty of parking – Entrance is Free. We look forward to seeing you there!
