Roscrea Enhancement Plan Launch
The official launch of the Roscrea Enhancement Plan will take place between 12pm and 3pm on this Friday the 31st of May in the Castle Complex. Come and meet the consultants and the committee and discuss the plan which is available to download from North Tipperary County Council’s website. Free tours of the castle complex will be provided throughout the day by the OPW.
Holiday For The Elderly

Corpus Christi Procession
The Annual Corpus Christi Procession will take place on next Sunday the 2nd of June after 12pm mass to honour the Eucharistic presence of Christ. Weather permitting the procession will assemble in the Church led by the Blessed Sacrament and followed by the first Holy Communion Children and their parents. Route will be via Abbey Street to front of Dean Maxwell Home where benediction will take place. All parishioners are invited to walk in this procession.
Dochus Nasamu Orphanage

Roscrea Bridge Club

Opening of Historical Sites
Roscrea Castle and Damer House opened on Saturday 30th March for the 2013 Season. Guided tours will be available on request. The Castle and House will be open seven days a week until Wednesday 18th September. Roscrea Castle consists of a Gate Tower, Curtain Wall and two Corner Towers dating from the 1280’s. Damer House was built in the early 18th century in Queen Anne style. It is an example of pre-Paddadian architecture. The restored Mill displays the original the original St. Cronin’s High Cross and pillar stone. Exhibition panels are on display. The first Wednesday of each month is free for all to visit.
