Scoil Eoin Honours Past Pupil Chloe Kirwan

The pupils and staff of Scoil Eoin Naofa were delighted recently to acknowledge past pupil Chloe Kirwan who has been called up to the Republic of Ireland U-15 soccer squad. Chloe’s call up comes as no surprise to those who have followed her progress in all sports over the last number of years. Accompanied by members of her family she was a special guest at a school assembly recently. Mr. Kelly who coached Chloe when she was in the school made a special presentation to her.

Congratulations to the boys and girls of sixth class who made their Confirmation on February 11th. They were delighted to receive the sacrament from Bishop Willie Walsh and did their school and their families proud on the day. Well done to Mr. McGrath who prepared them so well.

Scoil Eoin Naofa is now accepting enrolments for September 2012. To get an enrolment form please call into the school, or ring us on 23903.

Football Cups visit school

Teachers and pupils alike were delighted last week to receive the Tom Markam Cup at the school. The cup was accompanied by Loughmore’s Liam McGrath, a key member of the team who defeated Dublin on that historic day in September, and members of the Inane Rovers club.
