Tipperary Gardai probe theft of fodder supplements from Arrabawn store outside Nenagh

The Gardaí in Nenagh are seeking information on the theft of a quantity of fodder supplements from the Arrabawn store at Ballywilliam.

The alleged incident took place comes as Irish farmers face one of the worst fodder shortages to occur in over a decade.

Meanwhile, in Roscrea, Gardaí are investigating the theft of up to €1,000 worth of household appliances from a store at Market Square in the town recently.

Thefts appear to be keeping local Gardai busy as gardening equipment was stolen from a garage of a house at Townlough, Portroe, sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday of last week.

In the Moneygall area on Friday last, alloy wheels were stolen from a car in the townland of Rathcairn, while a car was stolen at Annaholty, Birdhill, on Monday of this week.

A male was arrested after he was found allegedly trespassing on a house at Upper Lacken, Birdhill at 4am on Sunday last.
