John P. O'Heney & Sinaida Jensen

Local Primary School Teacher, John P. O'Heney of Lattin, formerly of St John the Baptist B.N.S in Cashel and Tankerstown NS in Bansha is seen here (right) presenting his fundraising efforts over the last few weeks to Sinaida Jensen of the South Tipperary Hospice Movement.

John completed a Triathlon in Athy Co. Kildare on Saturday the 2nd of June and ran a raffle - all in memory of his uncle Eamonn O'Heney, former Publican in Bansha, west Tipperary, who passed away recently after a long battle with Cancer.

The final total raised, between his Triathlon and the Raffle, was €6,000.

A big thank you extents to all those who contributed donations and spot prizes to this very worthy cause. '
