Major plans for new medical centre in Cahir, Co. Tipperary

New plans have been lodged with Tipperary Co. Council requesting planning permission for a major new healthcare facility in Cahir. Nivon Healthcare T/A Zest Healthcare has lodged plans for the development of a Primary Care Centre over two floors, in Rosemount Close, Barnora, Cashel Road, Cahir.

The project will comprise 1,885 m2 gross floor area, consisting of a general medical practice clinic; consultation rooms, offices and treatment areas, a public healthcare facility, procedure rooms, treatment rooms, office & administration suites, a single storey pharmacy annexe, 72 surface car parking spaces, along with the provision of a new entrance to the site from the existing public roadway on Rosemount Close, and an outlying electrical supply substation and waste disposal storage compound single storey building, and all associated site works.

The plans were lodged on March 20, and a decision is due by May 14. Submissions by April 23.
