Nenagh Gardai are seeking public assistance with their investigation into a number of break-ins in the district over recent days.
A burglary was reported at Glenmore Upper, Latteragh, last Monday. Property was stolen in the raid, which occurred some time between 5.50pm and 8.15pm. Anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area at this time is asked to contact Nenagh Garda Station.
Another break-in occurred at Ballymackeogh, Newport, last Thursday. Substantial damage was caused, though nothing was taken.
A car was reported stolen from outside a property at Craigough, Newport, last Friday morning.
Gardaí are also investigating an alleged assault that was reported at Silver Street, Nenagh, in the early hours of Friday last. A male was taken to hospital following the incident.
A horse was discovered in distress at Toomevara last Thursday. The animal had to put down. Gardaí have begun inquiries into the matter.
Elsewhere, Gardaí made two separate seizures of amphetamine in Nenagh last Saturday night. Drugs unit officers seized small quantities of the drug at William Street and Abbey Street.
A vehicle was seized and a man was arrested near the Lidl supermarket in Nenagh last Sunday afternoon. The man is facing charges under the Road Traffic Act.
A male was arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a road traffic accident at Rosslands, Roscrea, last Saturday.
Also in Roscrea, a vehicle was damaged at Castle Street last Tuesday week, while a female was arrested and charged with theft following an incident at Dunnes Stores on Wednesday.
