Tipperary County Museum & Co. Council launch Tipperary postcard competition

Tipperary County Museum in association with Tipperary Tourism are running a competition for the design of a new postcard for Tipperary, as part of the education/outreach offering for the Museum’s current exhibition 'A Message in Time'. Submitted entries will be displayed in the temporary exhibition space at Tipperary County Museum. The competition is open to 16 years plus and is targeted at individuals, tourism providers, art groups, camera clubs and students of Art. 1st , 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded prizes, and a limited print run of the overall winner will be produced in time for the 2018 season. As part of the competition a digital photography master class with John Crowley will be held on Saturday 24th March from 11am – 1 o’ clock at St Patrick’s Well, Clonmel. Places are limited to 15 and cost €10. Booking is essential – please contact museum@tipperarycoco.ie to secure your place.

Competition Requirements: Colour or Black and White; Photograph, drawing or computer graphic; one entry per person; Jpeg format only; Caption/Title; Name, address and contact email and telephone number must be supplied.
