As driving snow continues to fall across County Tipperary the County Council have commenced attempting to get the county moving again as the 'stay inside' warning for the county has been lifted.

The Council's Severe Weather Team will reconvene this morning (Friday).

As the prohibition on going outside has been lifted, snow ploughing and salting operations on priority routes will recommence immediately.

The position regarding the activation of other outdoor staff will be reviewed throughout the course of the day and will depend on prevailing weather conditions.
