Tipperary deaths - Sunday 8 April, 2018

The late Thomas Gleeson
The death has occurred of Thomas Gleeson late of Gaile., Thurles, Tipperary. Following an accident. Thomas, beloved son of the late Bill and Noreen. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Nuala, daughters Aideen and Bríd, granddaughters Mia and Layla, sisters Bridget, Josephine, Mary and Kathleen, parents-in-law Anne and Rodger, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Reposing at Devitt’s Funeral Parlour this Monday evening from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to St. Peter’s Church, Moycarkey for Requiem Mass at 11.30am followed by burial in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Moycarkey.

The late Elma Barry
The death has occurred of Elma Barry (née Conlon) late of Carrigahorig, Lorrha, Nenagh, Tipperary. After a short illness. Predeceased by her husband Denis, her parents Johnny and Peg. Very deeply regretted by her son John, daughters Denise and Helen, her adored grandchildren Ciara, Emma, Denis and Jack, daughter-in-law Marion, son-in-law Anthony, aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Reposing at Bushy Park Funeral Home, Borrisokane this Monday evening from 4.30pm to 7.30pm, arriving at The Church of Immaculate Conception, Terryglass at 8.00pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11.00am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only pleased. Donations if desired to Milford Hospice.

The late Mary Hogan
The death has occurred of Mary (Molly) Hogan late of Killeen, Borrisokane, Tipperary / Limerick City, Limerick. Reposing at Keller's Funeral Home, Nenagh, from 5:00 pm on Sunday. Removal at 6:30 pm to St. Peter and Paul's Church, Borrisokane, arriving at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 1:00 pm with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The late May McGrath
The death has occurred of May McGrath (née Donnelly) late of Newrath, Waterford / Clonmel, Tipperary. Predeceased by husband John, May will be sadly missed by her sons Jim, David, John and Michael, daughters Geraldine (Power), Margot (Murphy) and Mary ( McGrath Leahy), sons-in-law Sean, Jim, and Kieran, daughters-in-law Bernadette, Mary and Orla, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, neighbours and friends. May will be reposing in Power's Funeral Home Ferrybank on Sunday 8th April from 5pm followed by removal at 6.45pm to the Sacred Heart Church, Ferrybank. Requiem Mass on Monday 9th April at 10am followed by burial in St. Patricks Cemetery Clonmel.

The late Philomena Quinlan
The death has occurred of Philomena Quinlan late of Bawnard, Clonmel, Tipperary. Predeceased by her brother Eddie and nephew Conor. Sadly missed by her brother Kevin, sisters-in-law Sheila and Betty, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, extended family and friends. Removal will take place from Condons Funeral Parlour, Clonmel on Monday morning to St Mary’s Church, Gambonsfield, Kilsheelan. Funeral Mass on arrival at 11.00am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
