Tipperary deaths - Wednesday 14 March, 2018

The late Daniel Hickey
The death has occurred of Daniel (Dan) Hickey late of Rathmoley, Killenaule, Tipperary / Castleisland, Kerry. Predeceased by his wife Bridget and son Tom. Deeply regretted by his children John, Dan, Noreen & Bridget and his grandchildren, relatives and friends. Reposing at his residence this Wednesday evening from 4 o'c to 9 o'c. and on Thursday​ from 4 o'c to 6.30 o'c. arriving at St. Mary's Church, Killenaule Thursday, 15th, at 7.30 o'c. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11 am, followed by burial in Cullen Cemetery, Co. Cork. arriving at 2.30 p.m. approx.

The late Chris Mackey
The death has occurred of Chris Mackey late of Kilnockin View, Fethard, Tipperary and late of Red City and Lincoln, England. Deeply regretted by Mary, his sisters Kathleen Gallagher and Anne Devaney, his step daughters, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at McCarthy's Funeral Home, Fethard on Wednesday from 5.30pm with removal to the Holy Trinity Parish Church at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery.

The late Denis McGrath
The death has occurred of Denis McGrath late of Finurebeg, Mullagh, Clare and late of Coolagarranroe, Burncourt, Co. Tipperary and Annageragh Creamery. Much loved Husband of Helen (nee Donnellan), and dear father of Michael, Eoghan, Mairead and Enda. deeply regretted by his loving family, his 10 cherished grandchildren, brothers, Paddy and Mike, sisters, Greta and Mary, daughters-in-law, Michelle, Martina and Ciara, son-in-law, Joe, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends. Remains reposing at St. Mary's Church, Mullagh tomorrow, Wednesday evening, the 14th March, from 5pm with Funeral Prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 noon followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only by request please, donations in lieu to the Irish Heart Foundation.

The late Seamus Shortt
The death has occurred of Seamus Shortt late of Rearcross, Tipperary / Newport, Tipperary. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Joan, son Tommy, daughters Catriona (O’ Shaughnessy), Marie (O’Mahony), sons-in-law Donagh and John, daughter-in-law Jane, his 10 grandchildren, brothers Willie, John, Tommy, Joe, sister Ann (Barnes), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, aunt-in-law, relatives, neighbours and large circle of friends. Reposing on Wednesday evening at McCormack’s Funeral Home, Kilcommon from 4 o’clock to 8 o’ clock. Removal Thursday morning to The Church of the Visitation, Rearcross for Requiem Mass at 11.30 o clock. Burial afterwards to new Cemetery, Rearcross. House private on Thursday morning please
