Local TV programming in Tipperary will benefit from the announcement this week of the opening of Irish TV’s new Munster regional hub.
Twenty new jobs will be created in a range of skilled media disciplines as the channel expands its range of locally-produced programming from the six Munster counties through its new Munster regional office in Tralee.
This will mean increased opportunities for programming from Tipperary, which already has a weekly half-hour programme called Tipperary Matters, which airs on Saturdays at 8.30pm.
Tipperary Matters is presented by Fiona O’Sullivan and produced by Liz and Declan O’Sullivan, can be viewed on Sky TV 191, Freesat 400, eircom eVision 191 and online at irishtv.com, and can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org.
