The Social Committee of New Tipperary Rangers invite you to the annual gathering at the Monument in Noan East, Ballinure, on Sat March 15th next at 2pm, to remember neighbours past and present, and to chat about our proud heritage.
It would be lovely to see those who are not living in the Parish, to make a small effort to come, and you wouldn’t know who you’d meet!
Lions Club Fashion Show
Cashel Lions Club promises a night of glitz and glamour at their up-coming Fashion Show to be held on Friday 4th April next in Brú Ború, Cashel.
A fun-filled event is planned by the Lions Club on the night. The latest range of fashions for ladies, gents and children will be on display. Fashion Houses taking part include local shops such as Daverns, Golden Threads, Dundrum Golf Shop, Kilkenny Shop, Koko, O’Dwyers, Simply Chic & Uptown Girl alongside shops from outside the locality such as Virginia’s of Limerick and Mr. Mister from Cahir and Mitchelstown. The Lions Club are encouraging those attending to steal the limelight themselves with a smashing prize on offer for the “Best Dressed” on the night. M.C. for the evening will be well-known Tipp FM DJ, Mr. Don Andrews. The evening kicks off with a wine and cheese reception at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm. It will be a night to remember and tickets, priced at €20, are available from Brú Ború on 062 61122, from The Lions Club on 086 8583391 or from participating shops and Lions Club Members. The Fashion Show is the main fundraising event for the Club’s activities throughout the year. The proceeds of the night will go towards funding events such as the annual Cashel and District Senior Citizen’s party that was held recently in Halla na Féile. Over one hundred and eighty people attended the Senior’s party last January where some fine food, good company, music and dancing were thoroughly enjoyed by all. This is one of a number of events hosted by the Club over the year. Your support for the Fashion Show and for the Club’s activities is appreciated.
