On Sunday August 25th, the Roscré Beo Festival will kick the day off with a trek in the Slieve Bloom Mountains led by mountaineer and enthusiast Joe Coughlan.
Those in attendance are no doubt in for an exhilarating treat. Details will announced shortly.
In the afternoon Roscrea Castle and surrounds will cater for the rest of the day’s events. This year is jam packed with events bigger and better than before. They have the return of Cork circus with a lager shoe, the return of the Blacksmiths led by Eric O Neill, face painting, Tom Stapleton photograph exhibition, Climbing Wall Stocks & Torture equipment, medieval re-enactments, market stalls, wheel of fortune, Comhaltas CD performers, trophy presentation, local picture exhibition and much much more. At the same time the gig rig will see the performance of Mundy as well as local bands including T.M.C and Terence Cosgrove.
