The Munster Property Auction released their sales figures for summer 2018 and are delighted to announce a record-breaking number of sales. The Munster Property Auction is part of the IAM Sold Auction group who also run the Leinster and Connacht Property Auctions, and this summer the auction team successfully sold in excess 100 properties. Company Director Patrick Convey commented “it has been a very busy few months for us and we are delighted to say the month of July saw us reach the highest number of sales on record for a single month. We are now looking forward to the final auctions of year, which take place in Cork on September 20th and November 29th.”

Mr. Convey went on to say, “now is a great time to get on the property ladder and we are seeing the market continue to improve across Ireland. An increase in capital values are being seen across the Munster region including more rural areas. There has been speculation in the media recently that more modest capital value increases are expected in the coming years with the Central Bank restrictions taking effect on the marketplace. Nonetheless, year on year increase for the past 12 months is between 12% and 14% on average, when compared with the previous 12 month period.”
