The Cappa Intermediate Footballers followed up their County League success with a Championship victory over Golden Kilfeakle in Solohead on Saturday evening last, score 1-13to 0-1.

Eire OG 1-04 Cappawhite 0-06

After victory in their opening game, the Cappa Junior Footballers came up short by the slenderest of margins in the second Championship tie against Eire Og.

Fixtures:

The Cappa Senior Hurlers will play their final West Senior Championship Group game on this coming weekend when they play Kickhams in Golden with an 8pm throw –in.

Cappawhite Ladies Football:

The Cappa Intermediate Footballers will face Brian Boru’s in their opening County Championship outing in Cappawhite on the weekend of June 19-21st next. They will face last year’s Junior ‘A’ Champions, Upperchurch -Drombane in Cappa on July 5th with their final game v Cahir on July 16th next.

Congrats to Angie McDermott (midfield) & Siobhan Costello (wing back) who were selected on the National League Division 2 Team of the Year!

An epic encounter was played out in glorious sunshine in the U-12 Ladies Football Championship played out in Cashel on Wednesday evening June 3rd last.
