U16 Hurlers Cap A Great Twelve Months For Drom

Drom Inch 1-16 Nenagh Eire Og 2-11

It’s been a fantastic twelve months for Drom Inch club. The Colm Phelan Memorial Cup now rests in Inch Village as another county title arrived after Drom and Inch defeated Nenagh Eire Og in a very entertaining final in Templederry last Saturday.

A Pauric Campion goal two minutes from time set Drom on the road to victory. The goal gave them a four point lead but the winners had to put up the barricades to curb a late Nenagh fightback which produced two late points from Andrew Coffey and Phil Hennessey. Time

This was a hard fought entertaining game played in a sporting manner except for a scuffle that occurred in the 57th minute resulting in Connie Reilly, Nenagh Eire Og and Thomas Nolan, Drom Inch receiving straight red cards. See this weeks Tipperary Star for furr report.
