Congratulations to John McGrath of Loughmore Castleiney on winning the minor hurler of the year, and to David Butler of Drom and Inch on winning the intermediate hurler of the year.

John McGrath was a prominent member of the Tipperary minor hurling team that defeated Dublin in the All Ireland this year and has also the unique distinction of winning minor All Ireland’s in both codes.

David Butler played a key role in Tipperary’s winning the Intermediate All Ireland this year and scored 1-2 in the final against Kilkenny.
