Borrisokane Oust Drom-Inch to Claim Title
County Junior A Football Final
Borrisokane 0-6 Drom & Inch 0-5
Drom Inch fell short in their bid to win their first County Junior A Football title when they were narrowly defeated by Borrisokane in the county final at Moneygall last Saturday.
They dominated the last quarter in a bid to overturn a two point deficit but had to make do with a James Woodlock point twelve minutes from time. It was a disappointing end for this strong Drom side. They had their chances with the normally reliable David Butler having an off day on frees a bitter disappointment for the full forward whose unerring accuracy in the semi final deserted him over the hour.
In their path to the final, Drom looked a good side following wins over Shannon Rovers Gaels and Ardfinnan but this time they faced a well organised Borrisokane defence. See this weeks Tipperary Star for full report.
