There were two walks last Sunday – the short walkers headed to Boora Bog outside Ferbane, led by Pat Moloughney while the long walkers headed to the Knockmealdown Mountains, led by Mick Fogarty.
Sunday was a beautiful day and hopefully with the time changing next weekend, it will be the start of great walks over the Summer months. Next Sunday, there’s only one walk – an intermediate walk to Carroll’s Hill in the Sliabh Blooms, led by Joe Coughlan. While an intermediate walk, short walkers are encouraged to do this walk as they will be well able for it. New members are reminded that they can join the club at any time during the year, so come along – you can do 2 walks with the club before deciding to join.
