There was a full house at the Thomas MacDonagh Heritage Centre last Thursday for the illustrated talk on the Modreeny Ambush given by local man Ger Heffernan.

There was a full house at the Thomas MacDonagh Heritage Centre last Thursday for the illustrated talk on the Modreeny Ambush given by local man Ger Heffernan. People from all over North Tipperary were in attendance. Anyone who missed the talk will get another opportunity to hear this talk as Ger will deliver it in the near future for the Ormond Historical Society in Nenagh.

The next book in the Cloughjordan Heritage series, Volume 8, will be launched on the May Bank Holiday weekend.

Fashion Show

Kilruane MacDonaghs camogie club are holding a fashion show in the Abbey Court Hotel on this Fri 28th February at 8pm proceeded by a wine and cheese reception.

Presentation

The Kilruane MacDonaghs under 16 hurlers will be presented with their North and County medals at a function in the GAA Complex on Friday 7th March. This will be a very special occasion for the club as it celebrates the winning of the first ever under 16 A county title.former Tipperary goalkeeper and R.T.E hurling analyst Brendan Cummins will present the players with their medals.

Computer Course

A basic computer course will commence in the Thomas MacDonagh Heritage Centre on Tuesday 4th March commencing at 10am.
