First silverware of the year!

Thomand were ferocious tacklers and dominant in scrums and lineouts however Cashel had superiority when running the ball.

In a high scoring game Cashel scorers were Ryan O’ Sullivan, Aiden Maher, John Ryan, Brian O’ Connor and Tom Dowling. Cashel were eventual winners and the victory was undoubtedly a massive team performance. Eoghan McLoughlin, Jack Riordan, Jack Ryan-Con, Matthew Hewitt, Patrick O’ Dwyer, Harry Tobin, Ricky Lambe, Brian Flavin, Oisin O’ Suilleabhain, Eoghan Murphy, Kevin Molloy, Christopher Geraghty, Joshua O’ Dwyer, Dylan Byrne and Ciaran Walsh.

The cup was accepted by team Captain Kevin O’ Connor and Man of the Match was presented to Ryan O’ Sullivan. The Cashel supporters, team and management would like to acknowledge the tremendous hospitality shown to us by Thomand RFC.

Flower and Garden

Cashel Flower and Garden Club are holding their monthly meeting on Monday March 3rd in Spafield Family Resource Centre at 7.30 pm. Frank Alley from Dundrum Nurseries will give a talk. All are welcome.

Men’s Health Matters

An Informative talk for men of all ages takes place at Cashel Men’s Shed, Spafield Family Resource Centre, on Thursday,13th March, 7pm-9pm.

Person of the Year

Cashel Lions Club is hosting its annual Cashel Person of the Year Award. Nominations to Richard O’Brien, Secretary, Cashel Lions Club, Boscabell, Cashel. Closing date for receipt of nominations is Friday 7th March.
