Last week, Cashel Boxing club presented their framed club gear to Allison Hunt representing the Hunt family of Cashel Mart.
This was in appreciation for their support and sponsorship over the last few years. Cashel Boxing Club’s annual Hunt Memorial Tournament will take place in May this year, with further details announced in the near future. In the picture, Dylan O’Dwyer is holding the Hunt Memorial plaque, as he was last years’ winner of ‘home boxer of the tournament’. Cashel Boxing Club would also like to extend a ‘Thank You’ to Tesco in Cashel for their sponsorship of boxing equipment. The club is as busy as ever with tournaments and sparring going on most weekends. The boxers are all training hard to prepare for the upcoming Championships in March. Several boxers will be representing the club in the County championships, hoping to qualify for the Munster and even National championships this spring. The club aspires to improve results from last year when one boy and three girls competed at National level in Dublin.
New members are welcome to join the club and are invited to call in to the club to fill in an application form if interested, or call Petra Elftorp (club coach and secretary) if you have any questions (0857034972).
