Deputy Noel Coonan has received confirmation from Joe Hoare, estates manager, HSE West, that plans for Borrisokane Day Care Centre are running to schedule, with the building to be completed in September.
“This is a project I have been monitoring closely because I know it will be of enormous benefit to the local community in Borrisokane and to the wider North Tipperary community once it is ready for occupancy later this year. I have been in regular contact with the HSE seeking a progress report and I am pleased to see all is running on schedule,” said the local Fine Gael TD.
“I also worked with Minister of Health James Reilly to ensure the project was prioritised and funding was allocated to complete the facility. We have been waiting for this centre to come to fruition for a long while and I am pleased it will do so under the current Fine Gael-led Government,” continued Deputy Coonan.
“The progress report will come as a relief to the local community group who have had much patience with the project. Their work and dedication is to be commended. I also want to that the HSE who have been spear heading developments. The centre will importantly provide employment in the area and this is very much welcome,” he said.
