LOCAL HEROES:
The Ballina Killaloe Business Association (BKBA) members are delighted that the twin towns of Ballina and Killaloe were selected to be part of Joe Duffy’s Local Heroes program. The Association put in an application for the area in early December and was involved in a number of selection interviews. In late January BKBA was informed of selection for the TV program. Filming has already taken place around both towns over the past three weeks and will continue over the next few weeks. So if you still see a filming crew around, you know what is going on. We are launching our ‘local heroes’ idea with Joe Duffy on Saturday, March 23rd March so keep that date free. All will be revealed on the 23rd!
