Borris-Ileigh Camogie Club has organised a fashion show fundraising event, to be held in the Templemore Arms on Friday the 19th April. Doors open at 8pm with show commencing at 8.30pm.
This event will show case the latest collections from local shops all over Tipperary. Shops confirmed for the night are, Born, Thurles, Soles, Thurles & Golden Threads, Cashel, Lar na Pairce, Thurles, Mullallys, Templemore, Shelia Shannon, Nenagh, Elverys, Thurles, Jim McLoughney, Nenagh, Tescos, Roscrea, Borris-Ileigh Camogie, Borrisoleigh, In the Wardrobe, Carrick on Suir and Frist Editions, Thurles.
Keeping with the local theme all the models are local volunteers, hair local stylists Pearl Young and Caroline Harkin, makeup artist again local Sheila Kenny whose work has been published in Vogue, beautician Brid Harty, make up volunteers Noirín Stapleton and Moira Dooley.
Music and lighting provided by local DJ David Butler, MC on the night Micháel Tierney. Photographers on the night are Mandy Harkin and Mike Ryan.
Apart from all the local talent on display on the evening, there will also be local stalls plying their wares and a raffle with some outstanding prizes up for grabs.
Borris-Ileigh Camogie Club is a strong advocate of live local, support local, shop local and have always found that this support is returned ten fold when needed. Thanks to all the businesses, volunteers and people who bought tickets. A limited number of tickets are still available from committee and players and at only €10 which includes a cheese and wine reception represents great value for a night’s entertainment.
