Carers Information Morning

An information morning organised by the Carers Assocation will be held in the Civic Offices, Friar Street,Cashel on Friday May 10th from 11.00 am to 12.00 noon. For further information please contact the area manager Richie Molloy at 052 6170455.

Vintage Annual Run

New Inn and District Vintage Classic Club will hold its Annual Run this Sunday May 12th. The run is open to vintage cars, Tractors and motorbikes. All proceeds will be donated to the two primary schools in New Inn to raise much needed funds to help alleviate running costs. Registration is at Barron’s from 10.45AM and leaving at 12 noon sharp. Returning to Barron’s for refreshments, raffle and entertainment. All support would be greatly appreciated. Please note all vehicles taking part in the run must be fully insured. Entry fee is €20. Flower and Garden

Cashel Flower and Garden Club will hold their monthly meeting in Spafield Family Resource Centre on Monday May 13th at 7.30 pm. Ultan Nesbitt, Horticulturalist will give a talk on Summer Bedding and Herb Border. A good attendance will be appreciated to discuss the final arrangements for the tour to the Wexford area on June 15th. Non members welcome to attend on the night.

Acquired Brain Injury Cashel and Spafield Family Resource Centre launch Imagination Stations

On Friday 3rd May an exciting collaborative project between Spafield Family Resource Centre and Acquired Brain Injury Cashel was launched at Bearly Read Books Main St, Cashel. Imagination Stations a is a writing and colouring competition for local primary schools to raise brain safety awareness. Competition packs will be dropped to primary schools by Cher Quinlan community development worker Spafield Family Resource Centre who created this competition to raise awareness for the Bearly Read Books Shop entries are to be dropped to Bearly Read Books Main St Cashel. Two local schools were represented at the launch, Scoil San Isadoir Boherlahan and St.John The Baptists Cashel.please support this project and feel free to have a browse through the wonderful selection of books in the store. Acquired Brain Injury Cashel and Cher Quinlan are grateful to Spafield Family Resource Centre manager Grainne De Staffort for her support and enthusiasm for this collaborative project.
