Scoil Angela,Thurles takes part in Peace Proms

Scoil Angela takes part in a musical education programme called 'PeaceProms'.Peace Proms is supported by the Department of Arts, Heritage and theGaeltacht, and the Department of Education and Skills and is recognised asone of Ireland's most important Arts Education initiatives, providingoutstanding cultural opportunities for young people while promoting peace,unity and tolerance through music. 72 children from 4th, 5th and 6th classesin Scoil Angela, Ursuline Primary school, will preform with a full symphonyorchestra in a Concert in The Hub, Kilkenny on Saturday March 1st, 2014,with other participating schools.
