Due to the popularity of our summer evening walks it has been decided to continue them over the winter months and only being run on two nights during each month.

Night walking with a head torch or hand torch can often be an exhilarating way to see the Irish countryside with many having never experienced walking in the dark away from built up areas. All you need is a head torch (preferably) or hand torch which both can be purchased from your local DIY outlet, so if you would like to join us on these very social walks simply send a text to Cathal on 086 3399193 or Declan on 087 6769143 with an expression of interest and you will be notified by text of these walks. The first of these walks will be up and around the Devils Bit leaving Mulrooneys Gala on the old Dublin rd on Thursday the 26th of September at 7pm.

Our end of season walk to climb Ard Erin will leave Mulrooneys gala next Saturday at 11am with a picnic to follow. This walk is open to everyone young and old.

If anyone is interested in learning how to navigate with a map and compass and also how to use a GPS there will be evening classes on same in both St Sheelans College Tempelmore and Colaiste Pobail Roscrea for details and times please contact the college in question.

There will be indoor rock climbing starting in mid November with more details of prices and times to follow. They hope to see you there.
